Hey everyone! I just picked up the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and I’m absolutely loving the footage, but I’m a bit nervous about the screen and gimbal getting damaged in my bag. I have the Creator Combo, but I find the included soft pouch a bit too tight once I add the battery handle and the tripod. I’m looking for a sturdy hard-shell case or a custom-molded organizer that can securely fit the wide-angle lens and ND filters without them rattling around. Does anyone have a favorite compact case that offers solid protection for travel while still being easy to grab on the go? What are your top recommended carrying cases for this specific setup?

Stumbled upon this... Quick question—are you using the wide-angle lens too? Data matters!

PGYTECH Carrying Case for Osmo Pocket 3: Compact shell.
STARTRC Carrying Case for DJI Osmo Pocket 3: Precision-cut foam.

Thoughts?

sooo i totally get the frustration. honestly, that stock pouch is basically useless for the full setup. i actually tried the Sunnylife Portable Carrying Case for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 at first, but unfortunately it was a total letdown... the foam felt way too soft and the accessories kept slipping out. not as good as expected for travel tbh.

if ur looking for something solid, heres what i recommend:

- StartRC Hard Shell Carrying Case for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo: this is basically the gold standard for protection. it uses a thick EVA shell and the custom-molded slots for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 ND Filters Set are super snug. its a bit bulky in ur bag, but it wont crush.
- PGYTECH Carrying Case for DJI Osmo Pocket 3: way more stylish and compact, but honestly it doesnt fit the tripod as easily as the StartRC.

i mean, i guess it depends on how much you value space vs security. i went with the StartRC cuz i dont trust my gimbal to anything else lol. peace 👍

Seconding the recommendation above. I've learned the hard way that a loose gimbal is a dead gimbal... Honestly, the Smatree Carrying Case for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a solid budget pick vs the PGYTECH. It's molded perfectly for the battery handle. If u want even cheaper, the Ulanzi PB008 Shoulder Bag is basically half the price and fits everything plus extra cables. Just gotta be *careful* cuz it’s soft-sided. gl! 👍

Similar situation here - I was terrified of axis stress from pressure, ngl. I finally felt safe switching to the Tomtoc DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Storage Case. its basically armor!! Check it??

Coming back to this with a bit of a DIY perspective since I've spent way too much money on cases over the years that just don't fit right after a month. Basically, have you thought about if you want a pre-molded case or if you're open to something like a generic hard case with pluck foam? I find that the custom-molded ones are great until you buy one extra accessory and then nothing fits anymore, which is super annoying. Are you looking for something strictly 'grab and go' where you just toss it in, or do you prefer having a setup you can tweak yourself to make sure the gimbal axis isn't being pressured? Also, are you planning on carrying just the stuff in the kit, or do you have other things like extra mounts or a bigger power bank you're trying to squeeze in there? Tbh, knowing how much room you need for future gear might change the way you look at these storage things.
