S5 II sensor stabilization is pretty solid. Before buying, test *with* IBIS enabled. If you still need a gimbal, consider ZHIYUN Crane M3S; decent option for lighter setups. Its payload capacity is limited, so depends on your lens choice. Heavier lenses will require a larger gimbal, exceeding your budget.

Before committing, analyze used markets. Zhiyun gimbals often appear after a year or two, significantly discounted, offering great bang for your buck. Check build quality though!
