I recently picked up a Leica M11 and, while I love the minimalist design, I’m a bit nervous about scuffing the base. I’m looking for a high-quality leather half case that provides a bit more grip without adding too much bulk. Since the M11 lacks a traditional bottom plate, a major requirement for me is having easy, direct access to the battery and USB-C port—I really don’t want to take the whole case off every time I need to charge or swap cards. I’ve been looking at options from Arte di Mano and Oberwerth, but they are quite an investment. Does anyone have hands-on experience with these, or perhaps a more budget-friendly alternative that still feels premium?
Honestly, I've tried many and for the M11, these are ur best bets: * Lim's Design Italian Minerva Box Leather Half Case for Leica M11: Solid aluminum base with perfect port access.
* Kaza Deluxe Leather Half Case for Leica M11: Great vintage feel for less money. The Lim's is basically the sweet spot for quality vs cost. It’s way better than those cheap plastic ones tbh. gl!
Solid advice 👍
I've wasted so much money on cases that dont fit right... unfortunately, most 'budget' options are kinda disappointing. * TP Original Leather Half Case for Leica M11: Cheap, but the leather feels like plastic tbh.
* Arte di Mano Open Bottom Half Case for Leica M11: Pricey, but the direct battery access is flawless. Honestly, just go for the Arte di Mano. Its literally the only one that doesnt ruin the M11's feel. gl!
