Hey all! Just got the OM-3. What's the best SD card to use with it for video recording? I'm shooting mostly 4K. Looking for something reliable.

OM-3 Supports UHS-II SD cards, so just shopping for any best selling UHS-II SD cards.  https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=UHS-II+SD+card&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50

I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree with the 'expensive brands only' vibe here. Tbh, after years of shooting MFT, paying a massive premium for those big-name V90s is usually overkill for the OM-3 unless ur doing heavy burst photography or specific high-bitrate All-I video modes. Basically, you want long-term reliability without the 'brand tax' - I've had zero issues with Kingston Canvas React Plus over the years. They’re technically V90 but often priced closer to V60s from the competition, right? If you really want to save and still have a tank for 4K video, ProGrade Digital SDXC UHS-II Gold V60 is the way to go for sustained write speeds. TL;DR: Don't overpay for the name. A solid V60 or a budget-friendly V90 like the Kingston will handle 4K perfectly for years without breaking the bank.

Lexar Professional 2000x UHS-II, C10, U3, V90 SD card works well for me.

Aim for V60 cards, *minimum*. Lexar Professional 1667x works; sustained write ~80MB/s.

For reliable 4K, consider Sandisk Extreme Pro. My market research shows consistent performance, though Lexar cards are gaining ground since '23. Watch for sales!

Regarding 4K video, prioritize data integrity. Unfortunately, I've had issues with some cheaper cards failing mid-shoot. Lexar Professional cards are generally reliable and meet V60 or V90 speed class. Consider a card reader with write-protect to prevent accidental data loss. Back up footage immediately.
