Currently using Panasonic DMW-FL580L with my Olympus PEN E-P7. Performance has been excellent, plus complements Olympus PEN E-P7 nicely. Does the job well.
Kinda late to this one but I wanted to chime in... the E-P7 is such a compact little camera that I'd be real careful about what you slide onto that hot shoe. Some of the bigger flashes can feel really unbalanced and might even put too much leverage on the mount if you're swinging it around. Before I point you toward a specific deal, what's your actual budget looking like? And are you doing bounce flash indoors or just need a little fill light for portraits? Honestly, if you're trying to save some cash, you might wanna look at the Godox TT350O Mini Thinklite TTL because it's cheap and fits the scale of the PEN series well. Or maybe a used Olympus FL-300R Flash if you want to stay first-party for total peace of mind. Just let us know how much you're looking to spend so we don't suggest something overkill or something that might have compatibility quirks.
