Hey everyone! With Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 on the horizon, I'm really hoping to snag a sweet deal on the Nikon D850. It's been on my wishlist for ages, and these sales are usually the best time to upgrade. Has anyone seen any particularly good D850 deals in previous years around this time? I'm wondering if it's worth holding out specifically for these events, or if I should start looking for bundles now. Specifically, I'm hoping for discounts on the body-only, but I'm also open to seeing what kind of lens bundles might pop up. Anyone have any intel or predictions on where to find the best Nikon D850 deals for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025?

The D850 now get $600 off at Amazon/B&H Photo Video. This is a good deal right now.

Honestly, I’ve been doing a lot of market research lately because I was super torn between sticking with this ecosystem or jumping ship to another brand. From what I’ve seen, the market for high-end DSLRs is getting pretty weird. * Nikon seems to hold their value way better than some of the mirrorless competitors I looked at.
* I've noticed other brands tend to slash prices way faster to move old stock, while these pro-grade DSLRs stay pretty steady.
* The inventory levels for new units seem to be thinning out across the board. Tbh, when I finally pulled the trigger on my current setup, I was really worried about whether parts would still be easy to find in five years. I spent weeks comparing how different manufacturers support their older lines. I’m still a bit cautious about the shift to mirrorless, which is why I'm sticking with what I know works. Basically, if you see a decent deal, it might be safer to grab it sooner rather than later because I’m not 100% sure how much longer they’ll even keep these in production.
