What are the best lens filters for Nikon Z mount lenses?

What are the best lens filters for the new Nikon Z glass specifically? I just grabbed the 24-70 f/2.8 S for a landscape gig in Iceland next week but Im getting nasty vignetting with my old screw-ons, I think theyre too thick.

Should I get slim circulars or a square system? Budget is $400.

Like someone mentioned, those thick filters are useless on the Z glass. I've tried many over the years and ngl, slim circulars are just easier for travel. I once spent 20 minutes fumbling with square plates in a freezing gale... never again.Hoya NXT Plus Circular Polarizer 82mm: Solid budget option.Breakthrough Photography X4 CPL 82mm: Seriously thin. Square sets are cool but way too bulky for hiking.

Go with the slims. I ran into similar issues when measuring the stack height of my old filters on the Z glass. Honestly, those thick rings definitely clip the light path at 24mm. I moved to a slim-profile circular setup and I am very happy with the results. It eliminated the vignetting completely while maintaining the high MTF performance of the optics. The old ones just didnt cut it.
