Like someone mentioned, we were all waiting for that first price drop and it looks like it finally hit with that 500 dollar discount people are seeing now. Tbh, this whole thing reminds me of when my buddy tried to be extra cost-conscious and find a deal on a flagship body a few years ago. He was so convinced he could beat the system.

• He found some random site offering a deal that seemed way too good.
• Ignored all my warnings about checking the seller rating.
• Ended up getting a box that was literally full of old magazines.
• Spent the next four months trying to get his money back through his bank. Honestly, you might want to consider how much your sanity is worth during these sales. I would suggest making sure you stay on the big name sites because that whole ordeal with him was a complete nightmare. I still tease him about those magazines every time we go out shooting... definitely be careful out there.
