I’m looking to upgrade from a Z6 and hoping for serious discounts on the Z8 body or body + 24–70 kit. Do you think we’ll see better prices than Black Friday, or are most retailers just recycling the same promotions? Also curious which stores (B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Nikon USA refurb, etc.) have historically had the best Z-series holiday deals.
What are you planning to do—buy now or wait?

Just curious tho, what kind of glass are you already sitting on? If youre moving from a Z6 to a Z8, that sensor is gonna be way more demanding on your kit. Honestly, if youre looking at the long game, just stick with Nikon for your lenses. You really cant go wrong with their high-end glass... it holds its value way better than the bodies do over time. Are you planning to do more video or stills with the new setup? That might change whether a kit is even worth it for you or if you should just grab the body and some glass separately. Deals are great but gear that lasts 5-10 years is the real win.

Hey! Honestly, from my experience, the Z8 body-only is pretty unlikely to see deep Cyber Monday cuts this soon. Nikon usually holds firm on new, high-demand pro gear. I'd watch for slight accessory bundle discounts at best.

Honestly, I'd rather pay full price for a unit I know is perfect than risk a rushed deal. Reliability is key with pro gear like the Z8; no complaints here.
