I'm trying to snag a Sage Barista for my dads 60th next Friday and the price is jumping all over the place on Amazon.co.uk. Its £180 right now but I really need it under £150 to stay in budget. I've been looking at CamelCamelCamel and Keepa but I honestly dont know which one is faster for price drop alerts. Camel looks simpler but Keepa has those crazy graphs that seem more pro so I'm leaning that way... but then I saw some people talking about Honey? My logic was that an app might be better than an extension since I'm out of the house a lot and need to buy it the second it drops. Which one is actually the most reliable for UK specific deals?
Quick question, which Sage Barista model are you actually watching? There is a big difference in how the Express and the Pro hit those low price points. I would suggest being careful with apps since notification delays can be an issue. You might want to consider a Price tracker extension for better reliability. Make sure to check if £150 is actually realistic for a new one before next Friday... that is a massive drop.
@Reply #2 - good point! Agree about app delays.
Keepa is absolutely the way to go if you want the best data! Camel is fine for beginners but Keepas granularity is amazing for snagging deals the second they happen. Honestly, the browser extension is miles better than the app because you get those deep-dive historical graphs right on the product page.
