sorry if this is a dumb question but I am so frustrated. my logic was just copying the cart URL to send to my sister for her baby shower next week but it doesnt work. i keep getting an empty page. is there a tool to turn the cart into a link? i have no idea where to start...
Just catching up on this thread. Sharing a cart link directly is a total nightmare because of how Amazon handles browser sessions. I have tried many different workarounds over the years and being cautious about what you install is definitely the way to go. Since you are shopping for a baby shower, you probably want something free and easy so you can focus on the budget.
I ran into the same thing when I was trying to send my current hardware setup to a buddy. Amazon stores cart data in your local session, so a copy-paste link won't ever work for someone else. I started using Cart To Link and it's been great. It actually converts the cart items into a functional URL that stays active. No complaints here, it saves me a ton of time.
Just jumping in here because I love helping out with baby shower planning! It is honestly so amazing how much time you save when you stop fighting with those broken copy-paste links. I think I remember someone telling me that using a dedicated extension is the only way to keep the items from disappearing on the other person's end.
To add to the point above: i totally agree that session issues are the worst, but its seriously amazing how much easier a tool makes life! Being able to use tools from Share-A-Cart has been a total life saver for me. honestly just grab any of their extensions and youll be fine. its such a practical way to save on shipping costs by bundling items together. you got this!!
