so i am legit losing my mind right now because i am trying to get all the stuff together for my brothers surprise housewarming party next weekend and amazon is making it so hard. i have like 25 items in my cart right now- mostly decorations, some kitchen stuff, and those cool LED strip lights i found- and i need to send the whole list to my sister so she can check if i missed anything or if some of it is too tacky lol. i thought there would just be a simple share button but i cant find one anywhere?? honestly im so fed up with how they hide these basic features. i tried taking screenshots but there are so many items it would take forever and the images get all blurry when i send them over.

some of the things i have in there are:

  • fancy cheese board set
  • neon bar sign
  • set of 12 wine glasses
  • outdoor fairy lights

im so excited for this party since he just moved into his first place in portland but this one little tech thing is holding me back and i really dont want to have to manually copy-paste every single link into an email because my budget is $400 and i need to keep track of the total price too. its literally driving me crazy that such a big site makes this so difficult for users. is there some secret way or maybe a browser extension that actually works for this? how can i just email my whole amazon shopping cart to someone without losing my sanity?

I'd suggest using Cart To Link for a technical workaround. Just be careful to:

  • verify item counts
  • review privacy settings It's better for metadata than screenshots.

The short answer is that Amazon does not actually have a built-in feature for this, which is incredibly frustrating when you are trying to coordinate a big event. They basically push everyone toward the registry or wish list features, but those dont really help when you are trying to manage a specific $400 budget for a housewarming party in real-time. I have managed similar party planning before and finding a way to share a cart usually requires a specific workflow to keep the wine glasses and LED lights organized without losing your mind. To provide the most practical solution for your situation, I have a couple of questions to clarify the workflow you need:

  • Does your sister need to be able to edit the cart herself, or is she just there to view the items like the cheese board and neon sign to provide feedback?
  • Is it essential for her to see the real-time price totals and shipping estimates to help you stay under that $400 limit, or is a simple visual list of the 25 items enough? The best approach really depends on whether this is a collaborative shopping effort or just a quick review of the items. Some tools are great for the visual side but fail at tracking the financial data you mentioned. Once I know if she needs to actually interact with the items or just see them, I can give you a more methodical recommendation that wont involve taking fifty blurry screenshots.
