I am so incredibly excited because I am finally going to London next month for three weeks to visit my sister and I have been saving up for like a year for this trip!! So anyway I started adding a bunch of travel gear and gifts to my amazon cart on my phone because I wanted to be super prepared but then I realized wait maybe I should buy some of this stuff when I actually get there so I dont have to pack it all in my heavy suitcase and pay for extra bags. My logic was that since I use the exact same email and password for everything that my cart would just follow me around like a little shadow no matter which country site I was on. I logged into the amazon.co.uk site to check prices and shipping times for her apartment but my cart is just totally empty and it says 0 items? I went back to the regular .com one and it is all still there so I am really confused. Is there a button I am missing to like merge them or something? I really dont want to have to find all 15 items again and add them manually because it took me forever to pick the right power adapters and rain boots. Sorry if this is a super basic question I just have no idea where to start...
Carts dont sync globally. I was satisfied using this trick for my trip:
Honestly, I stumbled upon this discussion today and I have to say, it is so disappointing that Amazon still hasnt streamlined this process after all these years. Tbh, I kinda disagree with using the Wish List method as a perfect fix... I had issues with it during my last trip to Europe and it was not as good as I expected. Half the stuff I saved just wouldnt show up on the UK side because they have totally different sellers and regional stock. It can be a real headache.
