so i am moving to brooklyn next saturday and my roommate and i have a list of stuff we need like a microwave and bath mats but we are on a super tight budget so we dont want to accidentally buy the same thing twice.

i saw online people say to use amazon household but that looks like it is for families who share credit cards and we dont want to share a bank account lol. then i saw something about just sharing a wish list but can you turn a wish list into a shopping cart? my logic was that there must be a way to just have one cart we both add to but i cant find the button...

Wait, are you both on the same OS or is one of you on Mac and the other Windows? Just asking because I saw a fantastic breakdown of the data specs for cart extensions on YouTube recently! Just search for share amazon cart chrome extension and it should be like the first hit. Its honestly amazing for staying organized! Just saw a similar question on Smartphone Board that might help you out with your shopping haul.

Re: "Ive used shared wish lists for years and..." - 100% this. Ive tried a bunch of third-party cart sharing tools over the years and most of them are just sketchy or stop working after an update. Stick to the shared list. It lets you both add items and see whats already there. Saw a really solid guide on this at Smartphone Board actually, might be worth a look if you want the step-by-step.

Ive used shared wish lists for years and am very satisfied. Simply move items to your cart once decided; it works well and keeps finances separate without any complaints.
