How do I sync a shopping cart between separate Amazon accounts?

Ive been using Amazon since like the late 2000s and usually I have everything sorted with my business and personal accounts but right now Im actually freaking out a little. I spent the last four hours building this massive cart on my personal account because I forgot I was logged into the wrong window and didnt notice until I went to check out.

Its for a full home office overhaul here in Chicago and I have a strict $2,100 budget from my firm that needs to be spent on the corporate card which is only linked to my business prime account. I have like 45 different items in there ranging from specific cable management clips to a very particular monitor stand that took forever to find and I really dont want to have to go through and find every single ASIN again manually. I tried to just share the cart but apparently thats not a thing? Or at least I cant find the button anymore.

I know I used to be able to move things to a list and then share the list but when I tried the following it just didnt work right:

  • tried adding all to a new public list
  • tried moving items to the buy it again section
  • tried using the save for later trick

Every time I try to add all to list it just errored out on me twice and now Im worried if I refresh I might lose the whole cart session. Is there some kind of workaround or maybe a browser extension that handles cart migration between accounts? I need to get this order placed by midnight so the shipping hits before I have to leave for a conference on Wednesday and I honestly dont have another three hours to spend hunting down these specific SKUs.

Ive tried looking through the account settings for some kind of household sharing thing but that seems to be for prime benefits and not the actual active cart content. Does anybody know a quick way to just move the whole cart over to the other login without doing it one by one? Like is there a way to export the session or something...

Man, I totally get the panic. You might want to consider these two ways but be careful with the bulk move:

  • Wish Lists: safer since its official, but honestly it glitches with huge carts sometimes.
  • Share-A-Cart extension: way faster for migrating 45 items, tho you gotta trust a third-party plugin. Trying the list route first is probably safer. I was struggling with the same thing and Smartphone Board had the answer I needed for our team.

Building on the earlier suggestion, unfortunately Amazon native tools for cart syncing are pretty broken for large orders. I found this thread on Smartphone Board that explains the best ways to share your Amazon basket with others using direct session exports. Its way better than clicking through lists.

  • try a side-by-side browser setup
  • use a cart-sharing extension to bridge sessions Its super disappointing Amazon makes this so hard, honestly.

> Re: "Man, I totally get the panic. You might want to consider these two ways..." I have been in this exact spot and it is amazing how stressful a simple cart can be! Using a dedicated tool like amazon cart share is definitely the way to go here! The reason your list keeps erroring out is likely because Amazon throttles bulk additions to prevent botting, which is just fantastic timing for you, right? Ngl, I love how fast those extensions work but you have to be super careful with a $2,100 budget! Always double-check that the "fulfilled by" seller stayed the same after the migration because sometimes prices fluctuate between accounts. Its a technical quirk that can mess up your firm's reimbursement if the total changes! Seriously tho, the extension method is so much more reliable than trying to export a manual list. Good luck!
