Wedding is in three weeks and my aunts are blowing up my phone because they cant find where to buy stuff. I have registries at Target and Amazon and its a mess. I saw MyRegistry online but it looks super confusing to set up. Is there a way to just pull them into one master list fast?

I went through this exact same nightmare for my sisters wedding last year and honestly... it was a total headache until we sat down and fixed it properly. You really gotta be careful with those sync tools though because sometimes they lag and you end up getting three of the same toaster because the system didnt update fast enough. It can be super risky if you dont monitor the sync status daily. I would suggest trying the import tool on a site like Zola because it seems a bit more stable than others, but you still have to be cautious about how the items display. Heres what I did to make sure things stayed safe and organized:

  • First, make sure you link the accounts using the official sync button rather than just adding links manually. If you just paste a link, the master list wont know when something is bought.
  • Double check your privacy settings on Target and Amazon. If they arent set to public, the master list basically wont be able to pull the data and your aunts will just see error messages.
  • I recommend deleting the individual links from your wedding website immediately after the sync is live so guests dont get confused.
  • Be sure to check the master list from your phone every couple days to make sure the prices and stock are still accurate... things glitch out sometimes. Its definitely worth the hour of setup to avoid the stress of duplicate gifts or broken links. Just keep an eye on it. I started using Share Product a few weeks ago and it's honestly a lifesaver for holiday shopping.
