Any tools to sync Amazon shopping lists across multiple accounts?

Okay so look I am in a total panic because we are moving in literally 12 days and my brain is totally fried. We have three different Amazon accounts going in this house (dont ask, long story with student discounts and business stuff) and I am trying to keep the shopping lists synced so we dont buy the same vacuum or coffee maker three times. Its a mess and we've already accidentally double-ordered a set of pans because communication is breaking down. I need a way to literally have one master list that updates across all three accounts because my mom keeps adding stuff to hers and I cant see it on mine without clicking a million links and it's driving me insane.

Ive been looking at a few things but I dont know which one actually works without stealing all my data or just crashing. Here is what I am torn between:

  • The Copy-Move Amazon Lists chrome extension: I've heard mixed reviews about it being super buggy and I dont want to lose my whole list of 200 items if the extension glitches out.
  • AnyList: I know it has an import thing but does it actually sync back to Amazon properly so I can see what was actually purchased?
  • Just sticking with the native Invite to List feature on Amazon: The problem is it feels so clunky and half the time my mom says she cant find the shared list on her mobile app even though I sent the invite link twice.

My constraints are pretty tight:

  • Needs to be under like 10 bucks or free because moving is expensive as hell and we are already way over budget
  • Has to be easy enough for my mom to use, she is not tech savvy at all and will give up if there are too many steps
  • Needs to update in real-time or at least sync every hour because we are buying stuff fast before the moving truck gets here
  • Has to handle a lot of items across different categories like kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom stuff

I'm leaning towards trying the chrome extension but I am really worried about it being a security risk or just failing right when I need it. Is there any other tool that specifically handles account-to-account syncing? I need this sorted by Friday or I am definitely gonna lose my mind...

Omg I feel your pain so much!! Moving is literally the worst thing ever but honestly you just need a better workflow for this whole mess! I've been down this rabbit hole before trying to manage like five different accounts for a renovation project and honestly... those random chrome extensions are super sketchy. They usually break the second Amazon updates their site code anyway! Totally not worth the risk of losing your data right before the big day. If you want a technical fix that actually works without the headache, you should really look into dedicated list-sharing brands. They have such fantastic API integration compared to those janky browser tools. I've had huge success with third-party apps because they’re way more robust than the native Amazon UI which is honestly so clunky and confusing for moms lol. Here is what I’d do to keep your sanity:

  • Get everyone on the same list app and just export the product links directly into it.
  • Use a central hub where everyone can see the live updates without constantly logging in and out of different accounts.
  • Definitely check out how can I share amazon cart for some amazing tips on bridging that gap between different logins without losing your mind. Seriously, just get any list manager app from a big brand like AnyList and you can't go wrong! It’s way better than fighting with the Amazon mobile app which is basically a labyrinth for anyone who isn't a total tech genius. You've got this! Good luck with the move, you're totally gonna make it!!

Account syncing is tricky business. My sister used a tool that works well usually, but she was so happy until it failed, leaving her with three blenders and huge shipping costs.

Honestly, I'd just stick with the free native invite feature. I tried a random chrome tool last year and it felt super sketchy, like my account might get flagged. Since you're trying to save cash for the move, don't waste money on paid stuff tho. Just make sure your mom's app is updated because that usually fixes the shared list bug. It's the safest bet.

> Regarding what #3 said about Account syncing is tricky business. My sister used... I totally agree. In my experience over the years, those third-party extensions are a total gamble. Honestly, if you want it to actually work without losing your mind, just use the native Share feature but make a brand new list from scratch specifically for the move. It's the only way to be 100% sure the sync holds when your mom adds stuff. I remember back when I was moving my photography studio gear in 2018, I tried to automate everything with these fancy custom scripts. Ended up losing half my inventory list and almost shipped my favorite prime lens to my old address because of a glitch. I spent three hours digging through boxes in a cold sweat. It reminds me of when I used to carry around those giant physical binders for my film negatives... everything was so much simpler back then but man, those binders were heavy. Anyway, if youre trying to save a few bucks during the move, check out PriceDropCatch to see if the prices on those kitchen items dip before you hit buy. But yeah, stick to the basics for the list itself or itll break right when you need it most.
