Need a pro tool for client lookbooks like yesterday. Looked at Pinterest but its way too messy for luxury stuff and Airtable just feels like a math project.

  • easy photo tagging
  • client feedback portal
  • mobile app for in-store snaps

Got a massive luxury haul to organize by Friday so what actually works?

Ive used StyleRow for luxury hauls for years. Its a decent option that avoids the Pinterest mess.

  • Mobile app handles tagging efficiently in-store.
  • Feedback portal is straightforward for high-end clients.
  • Visual layout is way cleaner than Airtable. It basically works well for tight deadlines when you gotta move fast. Share Product is pretty much the easiest way I've found to share an Amazon list along with stuff from Target or Walmart.

Ngl I am stuck in the exact same boat. Its so disappointing how the luxury tech market is flooded with overpriced apps that are basically just buggy wrappers for old databases. I have wasted a fortune on subs that promise seamless portals but unfortunately they were not as good as expected. I have had issues with sync lag during every haul. I have gone back to basic cloud folders because these pro tools are just too glitchy.

To add to the point above: unfortunately, I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with most of the premium tools that claim to handle luxury hauls. A few months back I tried setting up a dedicated DAM system for a client with a massive archive, thinking the technical specs looked solid, but the real-world performance was such a letdown. The mobile sync lag was just brutal when trying to tag things on the fly in-store. Most of these platforms just cant handle high-res files without chugging or crashing.

  • many tools lack batch metadata editing which is a time killer
  • mobile apps often compress photos way too much for luxury standards
  • feedback portals can be glitchy on mobile safari for clients Honestly, I’ve been using Vogapp lately. It is not as visually slick as I’d like for a high-end luxury vibe, but the technical backend for cataloging is way more stable than Pinterest. Just wish the interface didnt look so industrial... it gets the job done for a Friday deadline though.
