I've been buying stuff from Amazon Warehouse for literally years now and I usually have a pretty good feel for the pricing cycles but this year I am feeling super stressed about my home office upgrade. I've got my eye on a 1440p monitor and a decent hot-swappable keyboard and the total is sitting right at my $400 limit if I go used. I noticed last year that they did that extra 20% off Warehouse items during Prime Day but I swear some of the base prices jumped right before the sale started which is super annoying.
Is it better to just pull the trigger now while I know the stock is there or wait for the big sale next week? I'm worried about:
If I wait and the discount doesn't actually apply to the items already on sale then I'm basically screwed and have to wait another month for my budget to reset. Has anyone actually tracked the price history on Warehouse stuff during the event? I usually use CamelCamelCamel but it doesn't seem to track the Warehouse-specific inventory prices very well so I'm flying blind here...
ngl ive had great luck waiting for that extra 20 percent discount. i grabbed a 1440p dell monitor and a keychron mechanical keyboard last year and the savings stacked on the warehouse prices perfectly. keep an eye on very good condition stuff too because often its just a damaged box and the tech is fine. havent noticed much price hiking on used stock specifically, mostly just new listings get weird...
> prices getting inflated right before the 20% discount hits Dealing with the exact same headache over a storage array upgrade right now... its basically impossible to predict these spikes tho. In my experience, Keepa handles used price history much better than Camel for technical gear. Quick tips:
