moving to Berlin next week and my roommate is supposed to pay for our kitchen stuff on Amazon.de but I'm the one who did all the shopping. I have about 18 items in my cart and need to get them to him tonight so we can get delivery by Tuesday.
I looked at Share-A-Cart but saw some posts saying it glitches on the German site lately and then I looked at the official Lists feature but that seems so slow to add everything one by one. I was thinking maybe there's a browser extension I missed? I'm in a rush because he's going offline soon and I really dont want to copy-paste links...
In my experience, moving to Berlin can be a total headache with the logistics, especially when you're trying to coordinate shopping between two people. I've tried many tools over the years for this exact thing because I hate spending more than I have to or missing out on bulk deals. You definitely dont want to mess with the official lists feature if you're in a rush, it's way too clunky for 18 items. Honestly, I've had way better luck using Cart To Link lately. It's super fast and doesn't seem to have those weird region-locking glitches that some of the older extensions get when they try to handle the .de site versus the .com one. Since you're shopping for kitchen stuff, definitely keep an eye out for those Spar-Abo (Subscribe and Save) options if you're buying cleaning supplies or pantry basics too. Even if you cancel it right after the first delivery, you usually save 5 to 15 percent right off the bat which really adds up when you're furnishing a whole new apartment on a budget. Also, check if you can snag a free 30-day Prime trial on the German site even if you already have one in your home country... it'll save you a ton on those heavy kitchen boxes. I've used this trick a dozen times to keep the setup costs down. If your roommate is the one paying, just send him the link while he is logged in and he should be able to just hit checkout instantly. It beats the hell out of copy-pasting links manually and accidentally missing a discount or a voucher code.
Berlin is gonna be amazing! Amazon.de is definitely finicky with extensions tho. Are you both using the same browser, or is he on mobile while you're on a desktop? Also, are any of those 18 items from third-party sellers? Third-party stuff usually makes the transfer tools glitch way more than standard Prime items!
