im really sorry if this is a super basic thing but i have no idea where to start. im trying to get some supplies for my classroom before school starts next week and my principal said he'd pay if i sent him my list. i put everything in my amazon cart but there isnt a button to just email it? i thought maybe i could copy the link but that didnt work when i tried it on my phone. im really anxious because the budget expires tomorrow and i dont want to lose all these items. is there a way to just send the whole cart to someone else or do i have to do it one by one...
Honestly, it is actually super frustrating that Amazon still doesnt have a simple send cart button after all these years. I have ran into this exact same issue so many times when trying to coordinate school orders and it is honestly so disappointing that they make it this difficult. You cant just send the cart link because that link is specific to your login, so if your principal clicks it, he will just see his own empty cart. Its kind of a mess tbh. The best way to do it is probably making a Wish List instead of using the cart. I had issues with this last year because I thought the cart would just work but it didnt. Go to Account and Lists and create a new list called Classroom Supplies or whatever. You then have to move the items from your cart to that list which is a huge pain in the neck. Once they are in there, click the Invite button on the list page and select View Only to get a link you can email him. If you are really crunched for time and dont want to move everything manually, you could try using a tool like Share-A-Cart, tho sometimes those are glitchy and might not be allowed on school computers. Im really sorry you have to deal with this right before the deadline. Hang in there, I know how stressful those budget deadlines are... you got this!
