Does anyone know if there is a way to share a business Amazon cart easily without doing the whole 'save for later' dance or sending fifty links? I'm super excited because my boss finally gave me the green light to furnish our new creative studio in downtown Austin—we've got about $4,000 to spend on desks, chairs, and some tech stuff, but the logistics are honestly killing my vibe lol.
I'm looking at two main ways to do this and I cant decide which is less of a headache for a busy person who hates tech. Option A is just making a big Shopping List and sending him the 'invite to edit' link so he can see everything at once. I like this because it’s fast but I dont know if he can just hit 'buy all' from there or if it makes him add every single item to his own cart manually, which would definitely annoy him since we have like 30 items.
Option B is setting up the official Amazon Business multi-user thing where I add him as an admin or an authorized payer or something. I started reading the help page but it looks like a lot of setup for just a one-time big purchase and I'm scared it won't be ready in time. We really need to get the order in by Thursday night so everything arrives before our lease starts on the 1st.
I'm leaning toward the Business Account because it feels more 'official' and maybe has tax benefits for the studio, but is it worth the hassle for a three-person team? Or is there some secret 'share cart' button I'm totally missing? I just want him to see the Ergonut desks and the fancy Jura coffee maker I picked out and hit the pay button without me having to give him my password... what would you guys do?
I definitely agree that the Business Account is the smarter move for those tax benefits. I did something similar for a project last year and those savings add up fast. Just be careful with the timing tho... I'd suggest starting the setup tonight because verification can sometimes take a day or two. It'd be a bummer to miss that Thursday deadline while waiting for approval.
