honestly fed up with how the app and desktop never match up. my logic was that it would just sync since its the same account but no.

Im trying to order a 500 dollar monitor for my home office by Friday and nothing shows in my cart on chrome. is there an extension to force sync this mess?

Just saw this and I had the exact same meltdown last month! It is honestly wild how a tech giant like Amazon lets their cart sync fail so often. Basically, the app and the desktop site use different caching methods, so things get stuck in your local browser storage instead of hitting the cloud. It drives me absolutely crazy too! You should definitely check out the Amazon Assistant extension or even a cross-device tool like TabCloud to keep things aligned, but honestly, the most bulletproof way I found is using the Save for Later button. It forces a server-side update that shows up everywhere instantly! It is fantastic once you get into the habit and saves so much stress. For that 500 dollar monitor, seriously make sure you are looking at something like the LG UltraErgo or a high-end Dell UltraSharp. I am totally obsessed with color accuracy for my home office and those panels are just breathtaking! If you are doing any multitasking, that 4K resolution is gonna be a total game changer for your productivity. I love my setup so much now, and I bet you will too once that delivery hits your door on Friday! Definitely keep us posted on which one you end up getting, I would love to hear the specs!

> my logic was that it would just sync since its the same account but no. Unfortunately I tried a few extensions for this when I was piecing together my current setup on a budget. They were honestly so glitchy. One actually wiped my whole cart right before a big sale ended, so I missed the discount entirely. I learned the hard way that these third party tools usually arent worth the risk. Better to just use a wishlist tbh... simpler and it wont break.

TL;DR: Grab a generic cart sync extension. Honestly, I am super satisfied with how 3rd party tools handle the session data sync that Amazon misses. For that monitor, just go with any office display from Dell, they work well and I have no complaints about the specs. It keeps my workflow moving perfectly. Just a quick tip: Cart To Link is super helpful if you're trying to collaborate on a supply list with a coworker.
