What are the best landscape lenses for Fujifilm X-T5?

So I finally upgraded to the X-T5 and Im heading to Iceland in like three weeks so I need to nail down my landscape setup fast. Im torn between getting the XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS WR or just going with the 14mm f/2.8 prime. I love the idea of the zoom for versatility but Ive heard the 14mm is way sharper for those 40mp sensor details.

Constraints:

  • Budget: under 900 bucks (used is fine)
  • Weight: gotta be light enough for 10 mile hikes
  • Weather: needs to handle some mist/rain

The 10-24 seems safer but is it gonna look soft on the T5? Or should I just get the 14mm and crop or stitch? Kind of leaning toward the zoom for the WR but that prime is tempting...

Just saw this thread and remembered my trip. I took my X-T5 to Iceland last year and realized the mist makes swapping lenses risky.
