Been trying to gear up for a big kitchen remodel here in Birmingham and honestly I am losing my mind over the price fluctuations on Amazon UK. I am specifically looking at those high-end Sage espresso machines and some Le Creuset pots to finish the place off. My budget is pretty tight because we spent most of the savings on the actual tiling and cabinets so I am trying to catch a proper deal before the end of next month when the builders finish up.
I spent a bit of time looking at CamelCamelCamel because that seems to be the one everyone talks about but idk it feels kinda clunky on mobile and I noticed some people on Reddit saying the UK data isnt always as snappy as the US version. Then I looked at Keepa and my god that interface is a nightmare lol. Like I get it has all the data but it looks like a stock market terminal from 1995 and I just want to know when a kettle hits fifty quid.
My logic was that if I could just get a simple browser extension or maybe a telegram bot it would be easier but then I started reading about how some of these trackers miss lightning deals or those exclusive prime discounts which is exactly what I need for the big ticket stuff. It is frustrating because I dont want to be glued to my screen all day.
So I am stuck between wanting something super detailed like Keepa but also wanting something that doesnt require a degree in data science to read on my phone while I am at work. I tried setting up one called PriceSpy too but it seems to cover too many shops and I mostly just want to stick to Amazon for the free shipping. Are there any UK specific ones that actually work well with the mobile app? Or am I just stuck with these two big ones and have to learn how to read those messy graphs... maybe there is a hidden gem I missed.
ngl ive been super satisfied using Keepa for years. CamelCamelCamel is simpler but misses too much info, whereas Keepa tracks everything perfectly once you get past that ugly 90s interface.
