im actually about to lose my mind with this mirrorless setup i bought last year because the battery life is just a total joke and it keeps overheating during outdoor shoots here in texas heat. i spent way too much on it and now im just done so i want to go back to a solid dslr that actually feels like a tool and not a toy. looking for something professional under $2000 that wont die on me mid-wedding next month. i need dual card slots and good low light performance cause i do a lot of indoor events. i dont care if its used or new as long as it works. what is the best professional dslr for under $2000 today? really need something reliable...

Honestly I went through the same thing and switched back to the Nikon D850 45.7MP DSLR. Its an absolute tank in the heat and the battery lasts for days compared to mirrorless. Low light performance is stunning for wedding receptions and having two slots gives me total peace of mind. TL;DR: Get the Nikon D850 45.7MP DSLR for unmatched reliability and image quality under 2k.
