Ive been using Amazon for basically everything since forever and I usually just send individual product links to people but right now I am super pumped because Im finally moving to Berlin in like three weeks and my roommate and I are trying to group buy a bunch of kitchen stuff to save on shipping costs and stay within our 500 euro budget.
I tried using my old reliable chrome extensions but they seem to glitch out on the amazon.de checkout page specifically and wont let me export the whole cart to his account. Its so frustrating because we have like 40 items ready to go. Does anyone know a specific browser extension that actually works for sharing a full Amazon Germany cart without having to manually add everything again?
@Reply #1 - good point! Unfortunately, I had issues with that extension recently on the German site. It is not as good as expected when handling 40+ items. Are you guys using the same browser or different ones? Mismatched cookies often break the export.
@Reply #2 - good point! Honestly, over the years I've realized that Amazon.de is way more finicky than the other regional sites. I have moved across Europe three times now and every single time the cart sharing part was the biggest headache of the move. I eventually stopped trying to find some magic tool and just kept it simple. In my experience, if you want to keep that 500 euro budget from blowing up:
> Does anyone know a specific browser extension that actually works for sharing a full Amazon Germany cart I had this exact nightmare when I moved to Hamburg last year. I would suggest trying Share-A-Cart. It worked for my 400 euro kitchen haul, but be careful because some extensions get buggy with German VAT. Make sure to double-check the final total before paying... it saved me so much time tbh.
