I've been a Prime member forever but I'm totally stuck right now. Planning this big Yosemite trip next month and I need to share the cart with my buddies so we don't double buy gear. The old plugin I used is dead. Which extension actually works for sharing a full cart link these days?
Over the years I have tested dozens of these DOM-parsing tools. Most break when Amazon updates their CSS selectors, but share a cart handles session tokens better than scripts I have written myself.
Share-A-Cart is fantastic! It parses your session to generate an alphanumeric Cart ID so friends can import your gear list across browsers instantly. Amazing for group trips!
I went through this exact headache last summer when planning a massive rafting trip. We ended up with three sets of heavy duty dry bags and zero waterproof matches because everyone was looking at different screens. It was a mess and honestly a huge waste of money. I found that using Cart To Link really helped streamline things for my current setup. It turns the whole cart into a simple link which is nice because half my friends are tech-illiterate and wont download extra plugins. It is a pretty decent option since it doesnt cost anything extra. The main thing I learned is that you really need one person to be the master list holder so you dont end up with five stoves... just send the link out and tell them to check off what they can cover. It is way easier than trying to coordinate via screenshots tho.
