Im getting so stressed trying to track prices for this LG UltraGear monitor I want for my brothers birthday next month... I keep checking like five tabs every hour and I know Im gonna miss a flash sale if I dont get an extension. Im stuck between using Honey or CamelCamelCamel but I mostly need stuff for Best Buy and B&H too so Camel isnt enough. Ive also looked at Keepa but the charts are honestly kind of overwhelming for me.

  • Must work on sites besides just Amazon
  • Budget is strictly under 400 bucks
  • Needs real time alerts because stuff sells out fast

Is Honey actually reliable for this or should I go with something else entirely?

Like someone mentioned, Honey can be hit or miss for B&H. Honestly, I'm super happy with my current setup for tracking specs and price deltas. It works well by scraping the actual HTML price tags every few minutes.

  • customizable refresh rates
  • instant push notifications
  • cross-site data logging I was satisfied when it caught my monitor for 350 bucks. It's way less stressful than manual checking!

Ive tried a bunch over the years and Glass It is usually my go-to for B&H or Best Buy. Just paste the link and it monitors the actual page for you. In my experience, its way more reliable than Honey for those random flash sales. Itll definitely help you stay under that 400 buck limit without having to refresh five tabs all day.

Honey isnt always fast enough for B&H updates. I would suggest using a decent price monitor over Camel for these reasons:

  • Multi-site support
  • Faster alerts It is much safer.
