Im honestly so fed up with Amazon and their random price swings it's driving me crazy. One minute the coffee machine I want is 150 quid and then I refresh the page an hour later and its shot up to 210 for no reason at all. It feels like im gambling every time I hit the checkout button and I really dont want to overpay since im on a tight budget for my brothers 30th birthday next week. I keep trying to manually track it but I work long shifts here in London and I just cant keep refreshing the tab every ten minutes. Its exhausting.

I used to use this one extension but it keeps crashing my browser and the data is always out of date anyway so im ready to just ditch it and find something actually reliable. I need to see the long term trends so I know if those big sales are even real or just some marketing rubbish because it feels like they just jack up the prices the week before to make the discount look better.

Are there any decent websites or browser extensions that actually show proper price history graphs for Amazon UK specifically? I need something that actually updates in real time and doesnt lag or require a massive subscription...

High-frequency data scraping is the only way to beat those algorithms! Ive been using PriceDropCatch lately and the real-time tracking is simply fantastic for mapping those volatile UK price swings. The tool provides several key features:

  • Real-time data refresh intervals
  • Historical volatility mapping
  • Instant notifications for specific price points Ive saved a ton on tech gear using this method!
