I am honestly so fed up with trying to snag a decent OLED monitor. Every time I get a ping from a Discord bot it is already sold out by the time the page even loads. It feels impossible to beat these scalpers and I just want to finish my PC build before my vacation starts in two weeks.

Im looking at the 34 inch Alienware specifically since I have a strict 900 dollar budget. I keep refreshing like a maniac and its starting to really stress me out. Are there any Chrome extensions for stock alerts on OLED gaming monitors that actually work fast enough?

Listen, I totally get the frustration because the OLED market is absolutely wild right now! I managed to grab my AW3423DWF using a specific setup that is way faster than those generic Discord pings. You need to use Distill Web Monitor because it runs locally in your browser so there is zero delay from a middleman server.

  • Download the extension and set it to monitor the Out of Stock text on the product page.
  • Change the check interval to something aggressive like 10 or 20 seconds.
  • Enable the audio alert so it screams at you the second it changes. It is honestly a total game changer for snagging hardware. Just make sure you are logged into your retail accounts with your payment info already saved or you will still lose out to the bots. Good luck with the build, that Alienware is amazing!

Its really disappointing. Since you have a strict 900 dollar budget, definitely check Dell Outlet for open-box units. Browser monitors are kinda useless when scalper scripts hit the database directly. Stick to manual refreshes on the official site early in the morning instead.
