I'm looking to buy the Canon EOS R8 during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Can anyone share the best deals they've found so far? I'm particularly interested in discounts, bundles, or any special offers that might be available.

Like someone mentioned, that $300 discount is a solid start, but honestly I am gonna suggest a different path if you want the most bang for your buck. In my experience over the years, retail Black Friday prices are okay, but the Canon refurbished store is where the real technical value hides. I have tried many R-series bodies and while the Canon EOS R8 Body is an absolute beast for the price, its lack of IBIS means you gotta be picky with glass. If you can find a refurbished Canon EOS R8 with RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM bundle during the Cyber Monday drop, jump on it. That lens has incredible stabilization that makes up for the R8 sensor being unstabilized. Tbh, retail bundles usually just throw in cheap SD cards and bags you dont actually need. Id rather spend the savings on extra Canon LP-E17 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack units because that small battery is definitely the R8s biggest technical bottleneck. Keep an eye on the official site around midnight, usually beats the B&H deals by a mile.

Like someone mentioned, that refurb store is the secret for getting a bargain. The R8 is technically a beast because it shares the same 24.2MP sensor as the R6 Mark II, so youre getting flagship performance in a lightweight shell. Since the body doesn't have internal stabilization, look for deals on the Canon RF 24-105mm f4-7.1 IS STM. It's way more versatile than the tiny 24-50mm kit lens and the built-in IS is decent. Also, you're gonna need fast storage if you plan on using that 40fps burst mode. Picking up a Lexar Professional 1667x 128GB SDXC UHS-II while prices are low is a solid move. It's a great middle ground for speed vs price. Oh, and keep an eye out for a Canon Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R if you have older glass. Sometimes retailers bundle those for next to nothing, and it opens up a world of cheap used EF lenses that work perfectly on this system. Just my two cents... hope you snag a good one.
