I am planning to get the EOS R5 this Black Friday, so where can I get best deals on it?

^ This. Also, check the Canon Loyalty Program. Refurbished is really the only logical route because the new holiday bundles are not as good as expected. Unfortunately, the price data shows the MSRP hasn't dropped nearly enough for a body with this many years on the sensor.

  • Canon Loyalty Program (call them with any old serial number)
  • EDU discount portals Honestly, I am pretty disappointed the price floor is still this high for a body that has been out this long. Seems like a bad value compared to where the market is moving... just my two cents.

To add to the point above: Louise is right about the prices being frustratingly high. If you cant snag a refurb directly from Canon, be careful where you shop. I would suggest looking at these options for a bit more safety:

  • Specialized used sites like KEH or MPB. Pros: They offer a real warranty and have a strict grading system so you know the sensor isnt trashed. Cons: You might pay a tiny bit more than a random person on Facebook, but the peace of mind is worth it.
  • Local authorized shops. Pros: You get to test the actual unit for any weird IBIS rattles or overheating before paying. Cons: They usually dont have the massive accessory bundles the giant warehouses offer. Just make sure to check the serial number if you buy used to ensure its not gray market gear. Canon basically wont service those in the US even if you offer to pay for the repair. Safety first with a camera like the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera or you might regret it later tho...

Camera price are same at most stores. The difference is the bundle with lenses and free accessories, so just check Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama for best deals you think.

Check refurbished EOS R5 at Canon Direct Store. The best price for it around $2000.
