Looking for buy a new mirrorless camera during this Black Friday 2024. Will there be any great deals at B&H Photo Video ?

Usually camera deals at B&H are similar as other stores as Amazon and Best Buy. Just get a Payboo card to save the tax.

@romeor For residents of states with sales tax, this offer is particularly advantageous. The instant savings equate to the sales tax amount when paid off immediately. In states with high sales tax rates, like mine at nearly 7%, this benefit outperforms most credit card rewards programs. Few cards consistently offer such a high rewards rate, making this deal especially attractive.

While the price tag might look identical across sites, you really gotta watch out for compatibility stuff when jumping into a new mirrorless system during these sales. I see people grab these deals and then realize their old lenses AF is total garbage with a cheap adapter. Or worse, the battery life on the new mirrorless bodies is so bad they need three extra spares just to get through a day... which kinda kills those BF savings real fast. Tbh just double check the firmware compatibility if you're planning to use 3rd party lenses. Its a huge headache if things dont talk to each other right out of the box. Just a heads up before you drop a couple grand on a kit that doesnt play nice with your current gear.

Also planning to get some new Sony lenses at B&H, wish there will be good deals at Black Friday 2024.

Just a heads up - B&H typically launches their main Black Friday deals the Monday before (Nov 25). Their Payboo card gives instant tax savings which stacks with BF discounts. I'm waiting for deals on memory cards and portable SSDs.

Keep in mind their EDU discounts stack with Black Friday deals if you have a valid student/faculty ID. Also their Payboo card gets you tax back as instant savings in eligible states.
