Best screen protector for DJI RC 2?

Just picked up a DJI RC 2 and I’m already paranoid about scratching the screen during travel and outdoor flying. I’ve seen a bunch of “RC 2” protectors on Amazon, but the reviews are all over the place—some say they don’t fit right or mess with touch sensitivity. I mostly fly in bright sunlight, so I’m also wondering if matte/anti-glare is worth it or if it makes the display look blurry. Ideally I want something that installs without bubbles and plays nice with a sun hood. What screen protector are you using on the DJI RC 2 that actually fits and works well?

For your situation, I’d skip matte and go clear TPU film — it’s basically zero touch penalty and works great with sun hoods. I’m using Brother-3 Pack Screen Protector for DJI RC 2 (TPU Film, HD Clear) and it actually fits edge-to-edge (no weird corners lifting). Matte looks cool but, idk, it definitely softens the image in bright sun. Pro tip: warm the room + use a tiny mist of soapy water = way fewer bubbles!

Ok so i feel u — I went through 2 “RC 2” listings that were basically re-labeled phone protectors lol. What’s actually worked for me: STARTRC Screen Protector for DJI RC 2 (2-Pack) Tempered Glass 9H (around $10-15). Fit was spot-on, touch feels normal, and with a proper install (hot shower trick + dust stickers) I got zero bubbles.

For bright sun: I’d skip matte. It cuts reflections a bit but it DOES soften the image, and the RC 2 is already plenty bright. I run clear glass + a hood and I’m happy. Works fine with my sun hood, no edge lift. cheers

Ok so i feel u… RC 2 screen feels way too easy to scuff in a bag.

- **Best “cheap but actually fits” pick (clear glass):** Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Screen Protector for DJI RC 2 (2 Pack) — usually like **$18–$25**. In my experience the alignment tray is the whole game changer… you just drop it on and it’s basically bubble-free unless you’ve got dust. Touch stays snappy.

- **Budget option (still decent glass):** STARTRC Tempered Glass Screen Protector for DJI RC 2 (2 Pack) — i see it around **$9–$15** depending on the listing. Fit is generally good, but the oleophobic coating isn’t as nice as Spigen, so fingerprints show sooner. Still totally usable.

- **Matte/anti-glare reality check:** matte films (like PET) do cut reflections a bit, but yeah… they add a little “sparkle/grain” and soften sharp text. If you’re already using a sun hood, I’d stay **clear**.

- **Sun hood compatibility tip:** avoid protectors that have a thick black border (they can interfere with some hoods and reduce visible area). Clear edge-to-edge is safer.

Also, do the install in a steamy bathroom or right after a hot shower… sounds dumb but it seriously reduces dust. good luck!
