First leaked photo of upcoming DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro now available online. It will still get a 1/1.3 inch sensor.
Below is the details based on leaked photo:
- A wide-angle lens with a 155° field of view (FOV)
- F2.8 aperture for improved low-light performance

Honestly, judging by how DJI usually plays it, they probably wont hit 500 dollars. Im betting it stays around 349 or maybe 399 for the base kit. I remember when I picked up my DJI Osmo Action 4 Standard Combo at launch and it was such a steal for the quality. Ive been super satisfied with how that sensor handles dusk shots while hiking, it just works well without much fuss. If youre trying to save some cash, here is what I usually do:
- Wait for the Adventure Combo bundles since they include the extra batteries
- Check for refurbished units of the previous gen like the DJI Osmo Action 4
- Watch for those holiday sales right after the launch Im actually really happy theyre sticking with that sensor size because it means my existing filters and mounts might still fit. Ngl, its refreshing when a brand doesnt change everything just to force a new purchase. Hope the battery life gets a bump tho...
