So I finally upgraded to the Mini 4 Pro after flying my old Mini 2 into the ground for years. I thought I had the accessory game figured out but this new tech is making me rethink my setup. My logic was to just grab a basic ND filter set and call it a day but then I started worrying about the weight limit and those omnidirectional sensors being blocked by generic parts.
Im heading to the Oregon coast in ten days and need to keep it under 249g for some local regs Im following. I have about $150 left in the budget after buying the drone. Are the ND/PL hybrids worth the extra cash or should I stick to standard? Also curious if anyone actually uses those propeller holders or if they just get in the way. Just trying to figure out whats actually essential versus just marketing fluff...

I used the Freewell DJI Mini 4 Pro Bright Day 6-Pack ND/PL Filters on the Oregon coast and was highly satisfied. At 0.7g each, they keep you under the 249g limit. The PL is essential for cutting water glare. No complaints with my shots. Ditch the prop holder, it's useless. TL;DR: Buy the Freewell ND/PL set for water shots while staying under weight.

I shot some footage at Cannon Beach last month and was super happy with the basic DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filters Set ND16/64/256. No complaints at all, they fit perfectly and keep the weight legal. PL filters can be a pain to rotate in the air anyway. I also grabbed a Skyreat DJI Mini 4 Pro Carrying Case to protect the props instead of those annoying strap holders.
