I really need to know which ND filters I should grab for the Mini 4 Pro before I leave for this wedding gig next Friday. I'm going to be shooting on the beach in Cabo and the glare off the sand and water is gonna be insane so I need to get that shutter speed down or the footage will look choppy as hell. I spent all morning looking at the Freewell all day pack but honestly it has like 6 different filters and I'm totally lost on whether I actually need the circular polarizer ones or just the straight NDs. Then I saw some people on Reddit saying the official DJI ones are better for the gimbal balance but they only go up to ND16 which I feel like wont be enough for high noon in Mexico? My budget is around 70 bucks and I literally have to order them tonight so they get here in time. Does anyone have a specific brand they swear by that wont mess with the gimbal or make the colors look all weird and yellow? I've heard some of the cheaper ones have a nasty tint to them and I really don't have time to fix that in post...

I picked up the Freewell DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filters All Day 6-Pack a few months back and they have been solid. Honestly, for Mexico sun, the DJI official set is gonna be way too weak since it only goes to ND16. You will definitely want the ND64 or even the ND128 from that Freewell set for high noon on a beach. I was pretty worried about the gimbal balance since these are bigger than the stock glass, but they are super light and havent caused any motor overload errors on my end. Quick tip: just stick with the straight NDs for the wedding. Polarizers are cool for cutting glare on the water but you have to rotate them manually every time you change the drones direction relative to the sun. Its a huge pain when youre in a rush. Just pop on a standard ND32 or ND64 and you are good to go. No weird yellow tint from what I can see.
