Which high-speed SD cards work best with DJI Mavic 3 Pro?

I just picked up the DJI Mavic 3 Pro and I'm really excited to push that 5.1K video to its limit! However, I’m a bit nervous about choosing the right storage. I want to make sure I don't run into any 'write speed too slow' errors while filming at high bitrates or using the D-Log M profile. I’ve seen some people recommend the SanDisk Extreme Pro, but I’m wondering if a V30 rating is truly enough or if I should step up to a V60 or V90 card for total peace of mind. What specific microSD cards are you all using that can actually handle the Mavic 3 Pro’s data demands without any stuttering?

just catching up. Curious about one thing: are u shooting ProRes? High bitrates basically need stable sustain, so i think Samsung Pro Plus 512GB MicroSDXC UHS-I V30 works unless u need V60.

- In my experience, SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB V30 UHS-I microSDXC works perfectly. I've used V30 for years for 5.1K; V90 is overkill... what capacity are you looking at??

Careful with V90 prices. It's wasted money. V30 vs V90 is value vs overkill. Seconding the advice above; stick to V30 cuz faster cards wont help if your bitrate is capped anyway. Save ur cash!

sooo saw this earlier but just now responding... honestly, being cautious is THE way to go cuz losing a 5.1K masterpiece to a random 'card error' is like my biggest nightmare lol. I'm always super paranoid about reliability too. You might find this useful—definitely check out the official DJI support site for their 'Recommended microSD Cards' list. It's basically the only thing I trust for total peace of mind. Also, there's a great resource on the Mavic Pilots forum where users track long-term reliability of different brands like Kingston or Lexar. Quick question tho: are you shooting on the standard Mavic 3 Pro or the Cine version with the built-in SSD?? And how long are your typical continuous recording takes? Just wanna make sure we're talking about the right data load here. Better safe than sorry when you're pushing those high bitrates! gl

Bookmarked, thanks!

Just saw this. Quick question before I weigh in... are you planning on shooting 10-bit D-Log M for every single flight or just standard profiles? The sustained write requirements actually vary more than you'd think when you're pushing that 5.1K resolution. Tbh I've been pretty disappointed with the reliability of some big-name cards lately. Had a few 'write speed' errors even with V30 labels on cards that should've been fine, which is just a nightmare when you're out in the field. I've basically started doing my own DIY stress tests before I trust anything in my drone. I've had decent luck with the Kingston Canvas Go! Plus 256GB microSDXC V30. It's been more stable than the usual suspects, though the real-world transfer speeds back to my workstation are a bit slower than I'd like. I also keep a Lexar Professional 1066x 256GB microSDXC UHS-I Silver Series in my bag. It handles the high bitrates okay, but Lexar's quality control hasn't been as good as expected over the last year, so I'm always a bit on edge using them. Just stay away from the 'bargain' listings, way too many fakes floating around now.
