Ive been shooting with DJI gear since the original Mavic so Im not a total newbie but this Pocket 3 is giving me a massive headache. I bought a cheap set of NDs off Amazon for my trip to Moab next Tuesday and they are absolute junk. Every single time the gimbal does its little startup calibration dance the filter just flies off across the room. Plus if I pan too fast it just drops. I really need to keep my shutter at 1/120 for that 60fps look but I cant do it without decent glass. Are the Freewell ones actually worth the extra cash or should I just go with the official DJI ones? I need something with magnets that actually stay on the lens...
Man, I absolutely love the Freewell Mega 14-Pack Filter Kit for Osmo Pocket 3! These didn't fly off once during my bumpy Moab trails.
Building on the earlier suggestion, I disagree that you need a massive kit. I've been satisfied with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Magnetic ND Filters Set. They are engineered for the gimbal's clearance and haven't detached during startup once. If cost is a priority, the Neewer 4-Pack ND Filter Set for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a reliable alternative. Both provide much better magnet safety than those generic brands.
The premium brands are definitely worth it for the better magnets on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Are you looking for fixed NDs or considering a VND?
> The premium brands are definitely worth it... Unfortunately even my K&F Concept DJI Osmo Pocket 3 ND Filter Set kept falling off. Are you using a lens protector? I heard those make the magnets much weaker.
