Looking for price drop on Fujifilm X100VI? When do you think it will be price dropped? And how much?

Keep checking Amazon and B&H Photo Video, maybe this Black Friday 2025 will have a price drop on it.

@Reply #7 - good point! tho ngl waiting until late 2025 feels like forever when you just wanna get out and shoot. basically people here are split between hunting for a used V or jumping ship to something like a Sony, but be careful with that if you're specifically chasing the 40mp sensor and the ibis. those are the major performance jumps that make the VI worth it. i would suggest looking at the Fujifilm X-T5 Body Only if the price on the VI is a dealbreaker... same internals and it actually gets discounted sometimes. quick tip tho: make sure to get a fast card like the SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I because those high-res files will crawl on cheap memory. also watch out for the battery life, it drains pretty fast when you're pushing the performance modes. honestly might be better to just grab it at msrp if you find one, waiting for a drop might take years.

Price drop? Not seen it. I snagged mine for MSRP right after launch, and honestly, it's worth every penny. $1800 *might* be tough new, but check used markets. Consider the Ricoh GRIIIx as an alternative. Different vibe, but equally capable and usually cheaper. Film simulations on the X100VI are killer, though. Depends if that's a must-have for you.

Highly unlikely drop. Consider a used X100V; similar sensor, proven reliability.

Instead of the X100VI, maybe consider a used X100V? I got mine for $1400 last year. Still takes amazing pictures! Worth checking out if you're budget-conscious.

Don't hold your breath. For $1800, consider a Sony a7C. I had issues with Fuji's lens quality control in 2023; Sony's FE lenses are generally sharper, based on my tests.

Haven't seen a drop. But honestly, spending that much, consider a dashcam first. Think of it as insurance. $200 now could save you a ton later... and keep you safe!
