I finally pulled the trigger on the silver X-T5 and I am so hyped to take it to Tokyo next month!! Im trying to get it rigged up before I leave but I only got like 300 bucks left in the budget after buying that 23mm f1.4 lens lol.
Im torn between the official Fuji hand grip or the SmallRig one because the Fuji one is pricey but looks cleaner but the SmallRig has that arca swiss plate built in which is handy... also looking at straps like do I go for a Peak Design slide lite or just a basic leather neck strap for the vibes? Which grip do you guys think feels better for long days walking around? what else is like actually essential for this thing... extra batteries? help...
Totally agree about the grip.
You're gonna have the best time in Tokyo! Honestly, grab the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap SLL-AS-3 because the quick adjustment is amazing when you're jumping on and off trains. Also, definitely pick up an Expert Shield Glass Screen Protector for Fujifilm X-T5 for cheap insurance. Stick with the SmallRig grip and use that leftover cash for extra sushi and ramen... trust me on this one!
Ugh I'm stuck in this exact same loop. Spent months analyzing load ratings and bracket tolerances but everything feels like a failure point waiting to happen. It's frustrating having no solid options.
