^ This. Also, honestly everyone is right that just finding it at the 1599 retail price is basically the best deal youll get right now! Seeing it for over 2k on Amazon is just scalpers taking advantage of the hype... super annoying imo. If you really want that 40MP sensor and the amazing 6 stops of IBIS but dont want to break the bank, maybe look at a Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Camera instead? It basically has the same internal specs but you can actually find it in stock and it fits way more budgets!! If you are dead set on the X100VI tho, definitely dont pay those crazy inflated markups. Its an amazing piece of tech for long-term ownership but youll feel much better if you snag it at MSRP. Maybe check out the Fujifilm X100V Digital Camera used if you need to save? It lacks the stabilization and the higher resolution but still takes fantastic photos and saves you a ton of cash for extra batteries. Ngl the silver one is way harder to find because it looks so retro but the black is stealthy and looks so good too!
$2179 in stock at Amazon for Black VERSION. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Fujifilm+X100VI+Digital+Camera+Silver&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50
It's true that the X100VI is quite pricey right now. While we can hope for a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal, it's important to remember that newly released high-end cameras like this one rarely see significant discounts so soon after launch. You might see some small savings or bundle deals, but I wouldn't expect a dramatic price drop this year.
If Amazon has lower the current price to launch price, it will be a good deal.
Just make this camera in stock for launch price is a good deal.
Why Silver X100VI is more harder to find?
