What are the absolute must-have accessories for an SL2 setup if Im doing mostly street and travel photography? Just picked up a used body here in London and my budget is getting pretty tight after that lens purchase lol.
I saw people online recommending the HG-SCL6 grip but it looks so bulky and I am worried it makes the camera way too heavy for walking around all day. I also read about those Match Technical thumbs up grips but I am seeing mixed reviews on whether it actually helps with the ergonomics on the SL2 specifically or if its just an M series thing. Some people say just buy more batteries and a better strap and call it a day... what is actually worth the cash?

Building on the earlier suggestion, skip the bulky grip. Im satisfied with:
- Expert Shield Glass Screen Protector for Leica SL2 (tougher than film)
- B+W 67mm Master Clear Filter (protects glass)

The SL2 ergonomics benefit from specific additions. Based on technical usage, it depends on your handling style, but here are the most logical paths:
- Match Technical Thumbs Up EP-SL2 Black offers significant leverage for one-handed operation. It works well without the bulk of a battery grip.
- Leica BP-SCL4 Lithium-Ion Battery 1860mAh is non-negotiable since the SL2 draws significant power during travel. Honestly, skip the Leica HG-SCL6 Multi Function Handgrip for street use. Its weight is basically overkill for walking London.

I've been really satisfied with the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap Black for street walks. It works well. A fast SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB SDXC UHS-II card is basically mandatory for that buffer.
