I finally pulled the trigger on a Leica Q3 and I’m absolutely loving it, but I’m a bit paranoid about scratching that beautiful bottom plate. I’m looking for a premium leather half-case that doesn’t just look great but is actually functional. It’s really important to me that the case has a built-in door for quick access to the battery and SD card slot so I don't have to take the whole thing off every time. I’ve been eyeing brands like Arte di Mano and Oberwerth, but I'm curious if there are other artisanal makers I should check out. Does anyone have experience with how these cases fit with the new tilt-screen? What’s your top pick for the best balance of protection and craftsmanship?
Sooo, if you want that premium look without the insane Arte di Mano price, I would suggest checking these out: 1. TP Original Leather Half Case for Leica Q3 - basically $70 and has the battery door.
2. Kaza Deluxe Leica Q3 Leather Case - looks REALLY classy for about $130. I've found the tilt-screen fits fine, but make sure to check the hinge clearance tho. Honestly, you dont gotta spend $500 for protection!! 👍
- I've used Lim's and it's solid tbh
- The door works perfectly
Basically, ur getting great protection for way less money than Oberwerth. It works well with the screen too
Totally agree on the Lim's Leica Q3 Half Case, it's a great value. Check out Gariz Design Leica Q3 Leather Half Case too—the metal baseplate is actually safer and works perfectly with the tilt-screen.
