I’ve finally upgraded to the Nikon D850 for my professional portrait and landscape work, and I want to make sure I’m fully kitted out. I’ve already got my glass sorted, but I’m looking for those essential accessories that really elevate the workflow. I’m considering the MB-D18 battery grip for the boosted frame rate and better handling, and I know I need to invest in some high-speed XQD or CFexpress Type B cards to handle those massive RAW files. Are there any specific L-brackets or tethering cables you’d consider "must-haves" for a pro rig? What are the absolute essentials you wouldn’t go on a shoot without?

Hey man! In my experience, dont overspend on big-name L-brackets. The SmallRig L-Bracket for Nikon D850 2232 is a total steal at $50. Also, grab a Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Gold Series 128GB for around $100—it handles those massive RAW files basically just like the pricier Sony cards tho. Saving cash for glass is way smarter, right? gl!

Before I give advice, are you shooting in-studio? It impacts tethering choice. For budget speed, Silicon Power 128GB CFexpress Type B Card is a GREAT value choice tho!
