Anyone else planning DSLR upgrades for Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2025? I’m hoping for serious discounts on mid-range and entry-level DSLR bodies, plus lens bundles and accessories like flashes or tripods. Are retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo likely to repeat last year’s doorbusters? Should I wait for Cyber Monday, or do the best DSLR deals usually appear on Black Friday itself? Any predictions, past experiences, or specific models to watch?

DSLR cameras are now much cheaper than Mirrorless cameras, for example:
- EOS 5D Mark IV for $1799
- Nikon D850 for $1999
- EOS 6D Mark II for $1199
- EOS 90D for $999
- EOS-1D X Mark II for $2999
- Nikon D780 for $1549
- Nikon D7500 for $799

Re: "DSLR cameras are now much cheaper than Mirrorless..." - that is basically the main reason I am still a DSLR fan. You get so much more bang for your buck, and the gear is just way more rugged and reliable for long days. Ngl, I usually find that Black Friday has the better selection. Waiting until Cyber Monday is risky because the popular bundles usually sell out. My best tip is to get a Price tracker extension installed right now. It is the only way to see if a discount is legit or if they just inflated the price last week to make the deal look better. One more thing tho... always check if the seller is an authorized dealer. Gray market cameras are cheaper but you wont get a manufacturer warranty, and that is a massive risk when you are spending a grand or more. It is usually worth the extra bit of cash for the peace of mind.
