I know it's probably super early to be talking about this, but I'm already looking ahead and planning for SmallRig's Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in 2025! I'm saving up for a significant upgrade to my camera rig next year, and SmallRig gear is definitely at the top of my list. I'm really hoping to snag some great discounts to make my budget stretch as far as possible.
Specifically, I'm eyeing a new camera cage (thinking about one for a mirrorless setup like a Sony FX3 or similar), a solid top handle, and potentially a mini matte box or one of their advanced side handles. Hey! Planning way ahead is super smart. From my experience, unfortunately, SmallRig's main Black Friday/Cyber Monday site-wide discounts aren't always the absolute best value on everything. I've had issues where the specific cage or handle I wanted wasn't discounted much, or bundles included items I didn't need, making them not as good as expected cost-wise. Honestly, sometimes waiting for their smaller, targeted flash sales throughout the year, or even checking third-party retailers like B&H or Adorama during the same BFCM period, can actually snag you better deals on individual pieces. Definitely compare prices across sites!
