ive been watching the price for a breville bambino since i need to get one for my brothers wedding in about three weeks. budget is strictly 300 bucks so i need to catch a sale. i keep seeing camelcamelcamel and keepa mentioned everywhere but honestly keepa looks way too complicated and i think you need an account to get the really good alerts now? plus i really dont want another company having my email or sending me spam. is there any way to just check a graph or get a simple notification without making a profile? or maybe an extension that doesnt track me too much. what are the best tools for this that actually respect privacy?

Jumping in here because i totally get the frustration with the email spam. Over the years ive tried many different ways to snag deals without giving up my data and honestly its getting harder. I remember when i was hunting for a high-end espresso setup a while back i spent way too much time refreshing pages manually because i didnt want to sign up for anything. It was exhausting but i saved like eighty bucks in the end. I think i heard once that some of these sites let you just bookmark a specific product page and the price history updates every time you refresh... so you dont actually need a login. Not sure but i think Camel might still do that if you just use the site directly.

  • check the warehouse deals section under used - like new because iirc those are often just damaged boxes and the machine is perfect
  • maybe try a decent price monitor that lets you just browse without the constant alerts
  • keep a tab open on your phone and just check it when you wake up... simple but it works That 300 dollar mark for a Bambino is a bit of a stretch tho. I think they usually hover around 349 unless its a major holiday. If the wedding is in three weeks you might have to check for open-box deals at local stores too just in case the price doesnt budge. Good luck with the hunt!

Been tracking gear for years and honestly, I'm really satisfied with how simple some tools have stayed. Snagged a similar Breville myself just by keeping a tab open. If you hate accounts, these worked for me:

  • PricePulse: Works well for quick graph checks without signing up.
  • Glass It: No complaints about privacy, it's pretty lightweight. Using this tool helped me find the lowest historical price without ever giving up my email... definitely worth a look.

You might want to consider these two for checking that Bambino:

  • CamelCamelCamel: Best for simple, no-account graphs. Just visit the site manually so you dont have to share an email.
  • Keepa: Use the browser extension to see history directly on Amazon. Make sure to check the permissions tho because some extensions track you. Ive had PriceDropCatch installed for a few months and its definitely better than just keeping 50 tabs open.
