Omg im finally getting my home office set up in my new Chicago place and im so hyped but also my browser is a disaster area right now. Ive got tabs for an IKEA desk, some weird lighting from an Etsy seller, and ergonomic chairs from like four different sites and keeping track of it all is a total nightmare lol. I really need to get everything ordered by the end of this week so it gets here before my new remote job starts on the 1st because I cannot keep working from my kitchen table.
I spent some time looking at Karma since everyone mentions it but then I saw some reddit threads saying the checkout feature is super hit or miss and it mostly just tracks price drops so that doesnt really help me when I want to just pay once and be done with it? Then I tried Carrot and it looks cool for organizing my little wishlists but im not sure if it actually functions as a real universal cart where I can just hit buy once or if it just links me back to the original sites which kind of defeats the purpose. I have about $1200 to spend on this whole setup and I just want a smooth way to see it all in one spot and maybe even handle the checkout if thats actually a thing extensions can do now.
Does anyone actually use a universal cart extension that doesn't break every five seconds when you try to buy from different stores at once or am I asking for too much...
> am I asking for too much... I felt that when I moved. Using Share Product basically saved me a ton on shipping fees by letting me see the full total together before I bought anything tho.
Unfortunately most extensions werent as good as expected. I had issues with Karma failing at checkout for years before finding Share Product which finally handled my setup. TL;DR: Try it.
Yeah, @Reply 1 is spot on. Most fail because they dont have real-time API inventory syncing. Honestly, Share Product is the only tool I've found that actually works seamlessly with Costco and Best Buy too.
